While with Philip Markwood
Architects, Shane Chandler and Doug Graf worked with Congregation Beth Tikvah
to design a 30,000 S.F. Synagogue and Community Center Complex. The complex’s
primary functions are Worship Space, Hebrew School, Social Hall, Library and
Daycare Center. The worship space is designed to allow for three different
configurations required throughout the year; typical Friday/Saturday, High
Holiday and Expanded services. The site design is integrated with the building
design allowing selected interior spaces to expand outward into the landscape.
